Fault phenomenon:

The laptop doesn’t work. The customer described that it couldn’t be repaired at home and needed to send it, but the customer couldn’t wait to repair it at home.

Maintenance process:

When the machine was removed, it was visually inspected that there was water, but it was cleaned by the previous company. EC was obviously washed but the standby chip was not cleaned.

I found a standby chip UP1589 on the material board again and put it on. The notebook can start automatically. After installing it, I entered the system once, and as a result, I pressed the switch and turned it on again, and there was no response. It can only be triggered automatically when the battery is unplugged. When it is triggered into BIOS, it cannot be turned off by pressing the switch, and it can only be directly unplugged.

Remove the motherboard, power on the switch to test the voltage of 0.00V, and open the dot map to find out where the voltage comes from, whether it is disconnected or not. Find a capacitor below the common point and measure that there is 3.3V connected with the switch. As a result, the switch is not 3.3V, but it is 3.3V here. Just connect a wire and then turn it on, and it will work normally when turned on and off. Fault repair, maintenance is over here.
