The HP TPN-Q214 notebook can’t be turned on for maintenance due to water intrusion.
The TPN-Q214 notebook can’t be turned on when it is flooded with water, and the current is directly 0.15. There is a short circuit in this case, so it is suspected that there is a problem with the chip, so just disassemble it and try another one. Let’s see if it’s the same on the 8th generation machine. It’s a 5V=7F [model RT3612C]. It seems that it can be exchanged with each other, replaced, troubleshooting, and maintenance is over here.
[Machine model] HP TPN-Q214(i3-1005G1)
[motherboard version number] DAG7DCMB8D0 REV
[Fault phenomenon] The notebook can’t be turned on due to water intrusion.
[maintenance process]
Received a HP 13.3-inch fault machine. The customer described that he accidentally drank milk tea and poured it on the table.notebookAt the bottom, it can’t be turned on.
Disassemble the machine and take out the motherboard.

Look at the motherboard. There is a conversion chip that burns a foot. There is a lot of water on the surface. Clean it with alcohol and blow it dry.

Dismantle the motherboard and hit the resistance value. The 3V standby resistance value is 236 to the ground, which should be no problem. The 5V standby resistance value is 336. First, look at a small 14-pin chip next to the 3V standby, which burned a pin, removed it and patched a line to try.
Power on, the current is directly 0.15, isn’t this short-circuited? 1V public ignition machine, no problem found. If 3V 5V is normal, 3V is only 1.2V, 5V is normal, and 3V is abnormal.
Turn off the 3V induction burner and burn a 3V stand-by chip RT6258C. First remove this chip, the resistance value is normal, and directly disconnect the 3V standby node, but the burning machine still has no result! I suspect there is something wrong with the chip.
I found one from the 8th generation HP material board, changed it and powered it on. The standby was normal for 0.001, but it didn’t trigger. The switch 3.3V was pushed down, and I ran back to see EC IT5570E-128 -CXS with the program [here, the suffix CXS and CXA both have the program].

After adjusting three boards, one CXS and one CXA were specially changed, and both of them turned on normally. Turn on, the current is 0.45, and the CPU hangs up? Throw the motherboard in the oven for 15 minutes and the result is still the same.

To check it again, look at CPU chip RT3612E [5V = 7A silk screen printing], but I can’t find the drawing. Try blowing it directly with an air gun. No, just tear it down and try another one. Let’s see if it’s the same on the 8th generation machine. It’s 5V=7F [model RT3612C]. It seems that it can be exchanged with each other.

Change the startup current to 0.91, turn off the screen, and turn on the machine. Installed, started and waited for almost 8 seconds to light up, the original BIOS machine was perfect, and the machine was repaired with water. Troubleshooting, the maintenance is over.
Note: This machine needs to be triggered before the standby voltage will come out.
