Repair of HP 14s-cf0002TU Notebook after Water Intake.
It is found that the 6-pin EN also has 0.5V electricity, which is abnormal. After disconnection, LDO3 outputs normally, and the EN emitted by EC also has 3V, indicating that this is the problem.
Machine model: HP 14S-CF0002TU notebook
Main board number: 6050A2993001-MB-A01(A1)
Fault symptoms: the notebook does not turn on when it is flooded, and the power-on indicator does not light up.
Maintenance process:
A HP 14s-cf0002TU notebook, the fault is that after the notebook is flooded, the power-on indicator does not light up and it cannot be turned on.
Dismantling the machine, it was found that a little water was put into the standby place of 3V, and it was powered on after it was cleaned. There was 5V without 3V, and the LDO of 3V was only 0.5V, and the resistance of the latter stage was normal without short circuit. After disconnecting the test point of LDO3, LDO3 can output 3.3V V. Chip screen printing L8=, model RT6265B.

It is found that the 6-pin EN also has 0.5V power, which is abnormal. After disconnection, the LDO3 outputs normally, and the EN emitted by EC also has 3V, indicating that this is the problem. The result is still the same if the chip and peripheral components are replaced. Disconnect the 6-pin EN, disconnect the test point of standby 3.3, add a 3.3 to the ammeter and then test the back end of the point, and it will light up when connected to the power supply.
