OPPO A35 can’t be charged after entering water

Machine model: OPPO A35

Malfunction: The mobile phone water damage can’t be charged. When the charger is plugged in, the mobile phone has a charging sign, but the charging current is very small.

Fault analysis:water damage machine is combined with the fault that can’t be charged. Generally, there is a problem with the chip, or Related circuit corrode is broken.

Maintenance process: Observe the motherboard after disassembling,corrode is not serious. When the battery is not installed, plug the charger into the mobile phone. The positive electrode of the battery is only 1V VCC,VCC, which is obviously lower. After replacing the charging IC, the charging current returns to normal.

But after charging for a few seconds, the phone suddenly prompts “abnormal charging”.

This kind of problem is mostly caused by the fault of battery positive detection signal circuit. According to the drawing,Related circuit is tested on both the positive and negative electrodes of this battery.

The resistance on the positive line of the battery is transparent sealant, which can be waterproof.

The main power supply is without sealant. No obvious trace of corrode was found after observation, so a small amount of Colophony (Solder)was added to the main power supply, and then Repeat welding was added.

After the main power supply Repeat welding is finished, the motherboard is put back into the mobile phone for boot test. The mobile phone can be charged normally, and the fault is perfectly repaired.
