HUAWEI P20 can’t be turned on.

Malfunction: The customer said Huawei P20 couldn’t turn on the phone. It fell before, and now he wants to keep a lot of photos and information in his mobile phone.

Repai process: When I got the phone, I found that the back shell of the phone had been broken and a big hole was broken, so I could directly see the internal components. Press the phone power-on button, the phone doesn’t respond and can’t be turned on.

When the charging cable is plugged into the mobile phone, the charger’s light goes out, which is caused by a short circuit in the charging 5V line. Take out the motherboard of the mobile phone, and measure the 5V short circuit of the charging chip with a multimeter, so put the motherboard under a microscope to observe carefully and find that a charging protection tube is burnt out.

Remove the broken charging protection tube, replace it with a new tube, and then put the motherboard back into the phone. The phone can be turned on normally, and the fault is perfectly repaired.
