Glory 8X does not charge (charging IC and inductor are soldered/damaged)

Glory 8X doesn’t charge. First, the charging IC is replanted and installed, and then it is turned on for testing. It is found that there is a charging icon when the charger is plugged in, but there is no current. How can we get back to normal work? See the detailed explanation below.

[Maintenance process] I received a machine sent by a customer for repair, the model is glory 8X, and the fault is not charging.

Disassemble the machine and find that there are traces of repair. Check the maintenance area and find that it is next to the charging IC. Plug in the tail plug and measure that 5V has been sent to the motherboard. If there are traces of repair, directly redo the moved place before testing.

First, the charging IC was replanted and installed, and then the charging icon was found when the charger was plugged in, but there was no current. Then we tried to weld the charging inductor. After welding the charging inductor, the starting test current was about 400mA, but it was gone soon, so we directly removed the inductor on the charging line from Huawei’s material board and installed it. The startup test current is about 1.2A. willmobile phoneThe installation machine continued to charge the test. At this time, the fast charge was already available, the current could be stabilized at around 1.5A, and the fault was basically repaired.

[Maintenance result] After the motherboard is put into the shell, the mobile phone can be turned on normally. The functions of WiFi, Bluetooth, voice, charging, fingerprint, taking photos and making phone calls are all normal, and the maintenance is over.
