“Fault phenomenon” does not trigger from time to time

[Maintenance process] I received a machine sent by a customer for repair, the model is ASUS X55JX, and the fault is that it does not trigger from time to time.

When the motherboard is removed from the single board to trigger, it is found that it does not trigger, and the standby current is wrong, and it keeps jumping. The measured standby voltages of 3V and 5V are normal, and there is no problem in measuring the standby conditions of EC. When measuring the standby power supply of the bridge, it is found that the voltage of 3VSUS_ORG has been jumping. After troubleshooting, it is found that it is caused by a defective control tube Q2001, so this control tube is replaced directly.

Plug in the power supply and see that the current is normal and no longer jumps, then the problem has been solved. After triggering, it can be powered on normally, and the current can be turned on normally after multiple triggers.

[Maintenance result] The mainboard was installed, and the startup test was successfully lit. The recording, camera, sound and WiFi of the system test were normal, and the stress test of the baking machine was normal for half an hour. The maintenance was over.
