Malfunction: Notebook water damage can’t be turned on.

Maintenance process:

I received an Apple MacBook Pro laptop, and the failure description notebook water damage can’t be turned on.

Dismantle the machine immediately and conduct visual inspection.

On visual inspection, it was found that Nand VCC IC part, 1 1.8V, 2 0.9V, CD3215, and the side parts all had serious water damage corrode Oxygenation.
After cleaning, it was found that Nand VCC, L9030 1.8V impedance to ground was 10 ohms, L9021 L9020 two 0.9V impedance to ground was only 40 ohms.

Remove U9000 Nand VCC IC, clean U9000 PAD, and test 1.8V L9030 again. The impedance to ground is only 10 ohms, 300 ohms is normal, and 0.9V 40 ohms is normal. It is basically determined that U9000 Nand VCC IC and water damage caused pin, common point,VCC and 1.8V short circuit, which caused Nand to burn out.
Cleaning CD3215 found that RB631save _ ta _ cc1 _ g and RB641save _ ta _ cc2 _ g had a common point PPBUS_G3H, and the 10K resistor corrode pulled up was serious, so the motherboard could boost voltage after replacement.
Replace Nand VCC IC U9000. The oscilloscope measures that the output of VCC is 1.8V, the waveform of 0.9V is normal and the output of VCC is very stable. However, brush T2, and the result reported an error of 6, which was basically determined to be Nand.

Remove the bad Nand.

Get rid of Nand vinyl.

Install Nand.
