Unscheduled power-off repair of Sapphire PT-F2A85M-MA mainboard
The Sapphire PT-F2A85M-MA motherboard is powered down irregularly. Enter BIOSS and adjust the default voltage 1.4 to about 1.25. Find the H/W monitoring panel and turn on the CUP temperature protection.
Machine model: Sapphire PT-F2A85M-MA
Symptom: When entering the BIOS or the system, the power is suddenly cut off from time to time, ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes. When the quad core is installed, the BIOS loses power in a few seconds.
Maintenance process: after getting the machine, it was preliminarily judged that the temperature sensor of the motherboard detected the abnormality, and the computer was directly powered down for protection. Hardware level processing is not possible because a bitmap is missing.
The soft solution is to quickly enter the BIOS after booting up, reduce the default voltage of 1.4 to about 1.25 (which can extend the power down time), and save it immediately. Turn on the computer again, enter BIOS, find the H/W health monitoring panel, turn on CPU SHUTDOWN temperature protection, and select by the highest limit.
With reference to A4 5300, the fixed voltage is 1.28, and the temperature power failure protection is 75 °. At present, everything is normal.
