Fault phenomenon: mobile phone screen failure

Maintenance process: After receiving a iPhone 6 Plus, the customer said that the screen of the mobile phone was out of order. After taking over the phone, it was confirmed that the fault was detected by power on test.

Remove the main board, and then start Connect the power supply. Test whether + 1.8V, + 5.1V, + 5.7v, – 5.7v VCC of touch control chip are normal, and + 1.8V VCC is normal.

Measurement + 5.7 VCC is normal.

Measurement – 5.7v VCC is normal.

When + 5.1V VCC is measured, the measured VCC is 0.49v, indicating that + 5.1V VCC is abnormal.

This VCC is provided by the display touch VCC IC. Directly replace the display touch VCC chip, and test again that the VCC is normal. The machine is now repaired.
